About me

I’m a thinker, writer and creative based in the Isle of Skye.

As a Scottish-based architect for democracy and a passionate advocate for stronger governance, I’ve been described as a global leader in democratic innovation and civic participation, particularly around the intersection of digital, parliaments and citizens.

I’m also a writer of non-fiction, fiction and poetry as well as a curious photrographer and occasional artist and print-maker. My work has been published in a number of books, journals, newspapers and magazines.
